The CZM EK160 is a versatile drilling rig mounted on a Caterpillar 330 Next Gen chassis. With an installed power of 204 kW (273 hp) and a maximum torque of 21,500 kg·m, it is ideal for various soil stabilization applications.

The machine is characterized by its flexibility: It can be operated with either a long or short mast and is fully self-erecting, facilitating on-site assembly. Thanks to the robust mast made of high-strength Weldox 700 steel and the variable Caterpillar VH4400/4300/700 undercarriage, the EK160 offers high stability and adaptability to diverse operating conditions.

For precise control, the EK160 features a hydraulic system with automatic gear shifting for the rotary drill and main winch, as well as hydraulic torque measurement, which is displayed to the operator in the cab. The cab is equipped with an LCD monitor that displays diagnostic data for the engine and hydraulic system. Furthermore, the integrated CAT Vision Link system enables remote monitoring of machine operations and maintenance data.

With a minimum transport weight of 41,400 kg and an operating weight of 47,800 kg, the EK160 is suitable for transport while offering the necessary power for demanding drilling work.
