The Cat M318 is a medium-sized wheeled excavator with an operating weight of approximately 18 to 20 tons, depending on the specific configuration. It is powered by a Cat C4.4 diesel engine with an output of approximately 129 kW (175 hp), which meets current EU Stage V emissions standards and is also suitable for operation with biodiesel up to B20.
