The fourth-generation Canter was launched in 1978 and earned the nickname "Golden Canter" due to its "Golden Stretch" slogan and ochre body color. The grille design was slightly modified in 1982, but the car remained in production until 1985 without any major changes to its shape.
As a small truck deeply rooted in people's lives, it also struck us as a familiar "work vehicle."
