The Fendt 1162 Vario MT is a powerful tracked tractor from the 1100 Vario series, manufactured since 2021. Powered by a 6-cylinder MAN engine with 15.2 l displacement, it delivers an impressive 455 kW (618 hp) at 1,730 rpm.
Even at low engine speeds, the torque of up to 2,900 Nm delivers enormous pulling power – thanks to the so-called Fendt iD concept, fuel consumption remains consistently low.
The continuously variable VarioDrive transmission technology combined with a hydromechanical drive guarantees maximum efficiency: Two separate hydraulic motors drive the front and rear axles independently; a hydraulic fan ensures optimal cooling at any speed.
This allows the tractor to reach speeds of up to 40 km/h – ideal for efficient field and transport work
The 1162 Vario MT also scores points with its terrain-friendly crawler track including SmartRide suspension for greater comfort and soil protection.
Its generous 2-point cab suspension, air conditioning, and modern control cockpit make long operations comfortable.


With hydraulic output of up to 440 l/min, electronic rear PTO (1 000/1 000 E) and up to eight control units, it is ideally equipped for demanding field and task use.
